3D Designs

BIM (Building Information Modelling) model is an intelligent visual and data-based process that gives Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) experts the perception and authoring tools to deliver a more efficient plan, design, construction and built-asset management. The BIM slogan, build it right the first time: once virtually, once physically evolves with BIM.

3D Models

The 3D model contains advanced information (graphical and non-graphical parametric data) such as drawings, materials, components, schedules, energy analysis, HVAC systems, Cobie Datasheets, and other subsequent design components. It further defines processes, procedures, standards, information structure, protocols and security standards available as defined by Organisational Information Requirements (OIR), Employers Information Requirements (EIR), and Assets Information Requirements (AIR). This is implemented within a Common Data Environment (CDE). Each separate discipline with varied expertise and experiences accesses and contributes relevant intelligence to the overall project

Interrogating a 3D BIM model simplifies the collaborative workflow, improves performance and productivity, integrates process strategy, optimises interoperability of systems and BIM applications (tool kits) in a project as well as cost and time savings. Any alternation or variations to the 3D model instantly updates all data, updating sources such as schedules, constructability, costs and other geometric components.

We deploy our services with IFC capabilities allowing a very effective and flexible collaborative platform to various softwares within a multi-disciplinary project team, migrating model data for 4D and 5D functions. Constructability and BIM coordination is enhanced within IFC competences.

In our approach we use BIM to provide opportunities considering numerous design alternatives, value engineering, providing better whole life cycle costs alternatives made possible by our information centric design approach. We use BIM to create integrated designs while simultaneously checking performances (quality, scope, standards, time scale, carbon performance, operations and maintenance efficiency) and energy use estimation.

2D/3D Nexus

Our 3D models generate instant plans, sections, elevation, construction details and more along with the required information.

Early Visualisations: The model can produce rendered images in the early stages of the process to give our clients a premature view of the visual impact of how the buildings will appear.

Reduction of Human Error: Our design software robotically lessens the need for drawing rectification when design changes occur avoiding extensive change orders during the construction phase.

Extraction of Cost: Our model permits extractions and scheduling of components such as materials, and furniture, within the project to estimate and calculate 5D cost.

“Our 3D models generate instant plans, sections, elevation, construction details and more along with the required information.”

Model Analysis Integration: This rare capability allows further efficiency and productivity on advanced information such as environmental impact, natural lighting, sound, heat loss, energy usage, and more to the model design.

Efficient Construction Phasing: Our BIM-generated models combined with 4D scheduling has digital intelligence to simulate and analyse project construction phasing using relevant scheduling software from order tracking (offsite manufactured products), to site workflow, site space planning and all the way to executing live programmes and scheduled tasks.

Design Errors Detection: With our BIM federated models, we do BIM coordination, clash detections, and validation of design components as well as design optimisation for complex and advanced constructability.

Communication: With the support of our 3D visual model technics, we are able to communicate clearly relevant information for project stakeholders informed decisions.

Design Revisions: Having a BIM model means drawings can be revised quickly, simply and effectively due to the impact of the 3D visual environment.

Facilities/Asset Management: With a BIM model, the client or users can use the model as well as all the data extracted from the model to identify or alter accurate sources of as-built information for managing and operating the facility.

Augmented Reality: Our augmented reality service allows us to preview, analyse and present to our clients, and team members the designs by augmenting graphics, videos, sound, as well as other sensor-based inputs on real-world objects using a supportive camera device. This allows virtual objects to appear in the real-world location.”
